The Churchill Economic Development Authority’s monthly breakfast meeting will center its attention on a panel discussion focusing on non-profit organizations in Churchill County.

The meeting begins at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday at the Steakhouse at Stockman’s.

The following organizations in attendance will include the following:

Fallon Rotary Club — Rotarians provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Soroptimist International of Fallon — An international volunteer service organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

Toastmasters, NV Oasis Club — Toastmasters is club of peer support in speaking and self esteem building. We are a fun group of adults seeking stronger confidence in public speaking.

Lions of the Oasis of Nevada — We are part of an international group of service clubs that support local and international service projects. We are composed of men and women that wish to give back to their community by serving as Lions club members.

Churchill Community Coalition — A non-profit community coalition whose primary goal is to support and promote prevention programs in Churchill County for youth and families. The Coalition seeks to eliminate risk factors that affect our youth by identifying problems, gaps in service and trying to fill those gaps by bringing money back to the community through grants in order to facilitate effective prevention programs.
