American Legion Auxiliary’s annual Girls State Tea is June 3 at Governor’s Mansion

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 4 is holding its annual Girls State Tea, a benefit for local high school girls to learn about Americanism at this summer’s Nevada Girls State session in Lake Tahoe.

The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3 at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The price includes light refreshments, a silent auction and raffle prizes.
