A Stateline man, whose attorney told a Minden judge his mother only had a few years to live, walked away from a work crew in Carson City on Wednesday.
Michael David Lillie, 37, arrived at Stewart Conservation Camp just days after he was sentenced to prison in Douglas County for a subsequent instance of felony driving under the influence.
Lillie arrived at Stewart Conservation Camp on April 8 just five days after District Judge Tom Gregory sentenced him to prison for up to 10 years.
He is described as 6-feet-tall, weighing 190 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved blue shirt and black work boots.

Lillie was on parole for a previous felony instance of driving under the influence when he was arrested in Stateline on Dec. 21, 2015. He had been out of prison for nine months.
A preliminary breath test revealed he had a .171 blood alcohol content. Lillie’s previous felony DUI occurred on Dec. 28, 2012, in Carson City. He was sentenced on April 1, 2013, and was still on parole when he was pulled over.
