Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske says several key election deadlines are rapidly approaching, the first on Saturday.
That’s the final day to register to vote in the primary or make changes by mail in registration information such as address and party affiliation. It’s also the last day to register at a registration agency such as DMV or the Department of Health and Human Services as well as the final day for military and overseas citizens to submit an application, registration change or to request and absentee ballot.
May 24 is the deadline to make registration changes or to register to vote in person or online. Those changes can be made at www.RegisterToVoteNV.gov
Early voting begins May 28. In Carson City, early voting is held at the courthouse.
The primary election is set June 14.
