James Richard Shaw

James Richard Shaw, long time Fallon resident, passed away on May 3, 2016 after a long illness. Richard was born in Seymore, Texas on January 29, 1934 to Ernest and Opal Shaw. He had served with the US Air Force for 4 years . He was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration, where he was a Supervisor. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ernestine Koger. Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Shaw; children, Deborah Tepedino; Pamela Lawrence and Robert Shaw; grandchildren; Lisa Richner; Joseph Lawrence; Kari Dawson; Andrew Shaw; Alyssa Shaw; Ryan Shaw; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Imogene Greittenden; Dorothy Williamson and Bill Shaw. A Celebration of Richard’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at First Southern Baptist Church 900 South Taylor Street at 11:00 A M. Burial to follow service at The Gardens Cemetery in the Veterans Section. Donations may be made in memory of Richard to First Southern Baptist Church.
