Michael Mari Fortune, 90, passed away on May 2, 2016 in Hawthorne, Nevada. He was born December 31, 1925 and was a resident of Fallon, Nevada. Our Pa was a sergeant in the army during World War II, then married his lovely bride, Eleanor (King) in 1947. Then followed a long and successful career in law enforcement, retiring Highway Patrol badge #1. They brought 2 children, Kathleen (Fortune) La Bella and Lewis Fortune, who precedes him in death. They adopted Danny and raised him as their son. Pa is survived by wife, Eleanor; daughter, Kathleen (Fortune) and Michael La Bella; son, Danny and Carol Ann Fortune. Grandchildren, Michelle (La Bella) and Chris Weber; Dominique La Bella; Lucas Fortune and Rachelle. 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
