Rotary Golf Tournament
The 10th annual Rotary Club Golf Tournament welcomes all team and individual golfers on Saturday to raise funds for the Fallon Rotary Club’s projects as well as the 2016 Relay for Life program.
Shotgun begins at 8 a.m. following a free breakfast after which golfers will play 18-holes and then be treated to a lunch according to Karla Kent, a member of the Fallon Rotary Club and chair of the tournament.
“We still have spots for golfing teams,” Kent said, “but people can sign up as individuals too and we’ll put them on teams and welcome them to come and play.”

GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR THE ARTS
The Arts Center in Fallon is calling all golfers June 18 to the Fallon Golf Course for its fourth annual Golf Tournament for the Arts.
Patricia Sammons, the executive director of the Arts Center (formerly the Rising Sun Gallery Arts Studios), has partnered with Western Nevada College and the Churchill County Parks and Recreation Department in putting on the event.
The tournament is $35 for participants already members of the Fallon Golf Course and $65 for nonmembers.
Golfers will get to play an 18-hole scramble beginning in the morning followed by a luncheon, which is covered by their entrance fee, and a raffle with prizes and awards for top golfers.
ACES BASEBALL TRIP
The University of Nevada Fallon Alumni Chapter and Boosters is having an Aces baseball fun bus on Jun 25 from 5 p.m.-11 p.m.
The cost is $50 per person and includes the bus ride, beverages and snacks on the bus and a game and meal ticket.
The bus leaves at 5 p.m across from Wells Fargo in the large parking lot. Game begins at 7:05 p.m. To reserve your seat, call or text 775-232-9486.
