RENO — Carson High’s volleyball season came to a disappointing end with a 24-26, 19-25 and 25-27 loss to the Reno Huskies Tuesday night in the NIAA 4A quarterfinals.
In other quarterfinal games, Manogue swept Reed 25-14, 25-12 and 25-11. Spanish Springs swept Galena 25-11, 25-21 and 25-17. Douglas advanced with a 25-15,25-13, 22-25 and 25-11.
Thw Senators got a strong game from Jaycie Roberts, who had 16 kills and hit at a .286 clip with just four errors. She also added 13 digs.
Keelin Pilgrim and Shea DeJoseph added six kills apiece. Pilgrim added eight digs and DeJoseph three. Libero Abby Pradere finished with a team-leading 16 digs. Natalie Anderson finished with 32 assists in her final high school game. Ku’lei Haupu added four kills and three blocks.
Carson concluded its season with a 21-11 record.
