The Churchill County Board of Commissioners will meet Thursday at 8:15 a.m. in the chambers at 155 N. Taylor St.
The commissioners will consider and take possible action regarding the following:
Proposed amendments to the Nevada Association of Counties (NACO) bylaws and an update on its legislative issues by Jeff Fontaine, NACO executive director
Churchill County Social Services requests authorization to enter into specific program leases from December 2016 through November 2017
Shannon Ernst, Churchill County Social Services director, seeks approval to submit to pre-applications for sponsorship for the 2017 Community Development Block Grant Program for the Continuum of Care and Regional Transportation Plan
Geof Stark, county human resources director, seeks approval of a job description and salary range for an Occupational Safety & Emergency Management Coordinator as well as a change in status of the current emergency manager position from exempt to non-exempt
The Liquor Board will convene to consider issuing new licenses for Cattleman’s Café and the Fallon Golf Course
