Esther Beth Ralston (Makinster) passed away at the age of 68 at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV on Sunday, October 30, 2016.
She was born in Eugene, Oregon and grew up in Tacoma, Washington as well as armel Valley, California.
Esther served in the United States Air Force at Strategic Air Command FAA Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, and went to secretarial and business school.
She has resided in Carson City, Nevada for the last 42 years. She had been a member of the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church. In the last years of her life, she enjoyed movies, bingo, and dining out with family.
She was preceded in death by her father Ivan Arthur Makinster, her mother Eugenie Biong Christophersen, and her husband of 24 years, George Blaine Ralston.
Esther is survived by a sister, Barbara Cavanaugh, from San Marcos, California; a brother, Christopher Makinster, from Hurricane, West Virginia; and three children: Wendy Walker and her Husband Nick Walker from Missouri,
Michael Ralston from Carson City, and Robert Ralston and his Wife Nixi Ralston from Las Vegas.
There will be a private service with family out at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery to be reunited with her Husband.
