Trio arrested on suspicion of felony burglary charges by Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 12:17 a.m., a 49-year-old Carson city man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court, fictitious registration and expired registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Airport Road. Bail was set at $1,005.

At 10:30 a.m., William Stockwell, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony uttering a forged injury after deputies responded to reports of a person trying to cash a forged check at the College Parkway City National Bank. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 9:36 p.m., Nathally Resendiz, 21, of Mound House was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-third offense, destruction of property and battery after deputies responded to reports of a battery of a pregnant woman near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $18,500.

SATURDAY

At 1:03 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving on marked lines, no insurance and resisting an officer after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3300 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $2,150.

At 1:35 a.m., a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit and run after deputies responded to reports of an accident near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $1,500.

At 4:43 a.m., a 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Airport Road and Green Drive. Bail was set at $1,560.

At 1:34 p.m., Sergio Garcia, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony burglary by shoplifting, felony possession of a controlled substance,possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1500 block of Evan Street. At the same incident, Jesus Armenta-Santos, 31, of Fallon and Everado Cruz-Ambrosio, 44, of Reno were arrested on suspicion of felony burglary by shoplifting, possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Garcia was set at $18,500 and bail for Armenta-Santos and Cruz-Ambrosio was set at $6,000.

At 4:17 p.m., a 49-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of license suspended, cell phone violation and failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa Lane and Highway 50. Bail was set at $725.

At 4:23 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2400 block of Dori Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 4:46 p.m., Seth Kemper, 32, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, violation of a suspended sentence and contempt of court after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 3600 block of Goni Road. Bail was set at $9,291.

At 8:51 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of criminal contempt after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the North Carson Street Bully’s. Bail was set at $500.

At 8:56 p.m., a 37-year-old Winnemucca man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Brown and Gordon streets. Bail was set at $671.

SUNDAY

At 1:59 a.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Telegraph Street Blue Bull Bar. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 10:30 a.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of civil protection order after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near the William Street Smiths. No bail was set.

At 3:46 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $3,250.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
