The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
MONDAY
At 8:52 a.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court, suspended registration, no proof of insurance and expired driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1400 block of Rand Avenue. Bail was set at $2,075.
At 12:31 p.m., a 26-year-old Spanish Springs man was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer, obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted person near the William Street Thick Slice Pizza. Bail was set at $3,800.
At 4:27 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of a warrant after deputies responded to reports of a civil situation near the 1200 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.
At 8:18 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Deer Run Road and Old Mill Road. Bail was set at $2,600.
At 10:19 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failure to maintain a lane, disobedience to traffic control device and open container after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Robinson Street and Drew Way. Bail was set at $1,180.
TUESDAY
At 12:24 a.m., a 31-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $1,500.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
