United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) marked the formal opening of its new branch in Carson City with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 2 at 935 Jacks Valley Road. Credit union leaders were joined by community dignitaries, members and staff to mark the occasion. The new branch is part of a multi-phase project aimed at supporting UFCU’s planned growth in northern Nevada. It is the second UFCU facility to be constructed in Carson City. The first, located at 1350 E. William St., opened in April.
