Woman arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to sell, Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 9:48 a.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long Street and Molly Drive. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 3:35 p.m., a 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.

At 5:24 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic battery at the Highway 50 Gold Dust West. At the same incident, a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense and driving on a revoked license. Bail for the DUI was set at $3,500 and No bail was set for the probation violation.

At 7:30 p.m., Stephanie Farmer, 27, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, felony possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminal contempt after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the William Street Smith’s. At the same incident, Heather Olea, 28, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug possession. Bail for Farmer was set at $19,100 and bail for Olea was set at $6,000.

At 9:37 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check near Kimberly Circle. Bail was set at $500.

At 11:55 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and Stewart streets. Bail was set at $500.

SATURDAY

At 3:02 a.m., John Shelley, 37, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near the Rand Avenue Rand Motel. Bail was set at $7,600.

At 9:55 a.m., Anthony Malendrez, 34, of Dayton, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and felony use of a fraudulent credit card after deputies assisted another agency near the 8500 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $2,500

At 10:31 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment after deputies responded to reports of a child trying to cross the intersection of Colorado and Roop streets by himself. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 2:28 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic warrant after deputies conducted a business check at the Highway 50 Gold Dust West. Bail was set at $850.

At 4:32 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1900 block of Carriage Crest Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:24 p.m., Jose Villagrana-Gutierrez, 38, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony preventing a victim from reporting a crime, domestic battery, threats and obstructing a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of a battery near Woodside and Monte Rosa drives. Bail was set at $8,800.

At 10:55 p.m.,, a 41-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and disobedience to a traffic control device after deputies responded to reports of an accident near 3rd and Division streets. Bail was set at $1,040.

SUNDAY

At 2:57 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 1200 block of 5th Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 10:38 a.m., a 39-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and two counts of probation violation after deputies responded to reports of a man taking alcohol from the William Street Smith’s. Bail was set at $6,250.

At 2:38 p.m., a 24-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of two men taking items from the Market Street Walmart. At the same incident a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny. Bail for the 24-year-old was set at $3,250 and bail for the 23-year-old was set at $250..

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
