The 1st Church in Nevada

Now, that’s a fact.

With a spirit of “Open Hearts,”

“Open Minds” and “Open Doors”

To be exact.

It’s been in Carson City

More than 150 years, yes, true.

They have two wonderful Pastors, Rob

With his wife, Dixie, too.

It’s not about religion

Because God, he loves us all.

Church is just a place to go

To celebrate the call.

It’s about building a sense of community

With love that transforms lives

Forgiveness and acceptance

We are sinners

And must be revived.

There is “Small Blessings” preschool.

You really ought to see.

Also, in December

They do a drive through “Nativity.”

I must sum this up.

You should give it a try

Just walk in the Methodist Church
