The last chance to grab a special issue Nevada 150th Sesquicentennial license plate before they disappear will be Oct. 31.

The plate was selected in 2013 by the Nevada Cultural Affairs Foundation, the Nevada Sesquicentennial Planning Committee and Governor Sandoval’s Office in order to celebrate 150 years of statehood for Nevada.

Nearly 24,000 of the special celebratory plates have been issued since first available three years ago. The Sesquicentennial license plate helped raise funds for celebratory-related events and other activities throughout the state.

Only those who order the plate prior to the end of the month will be able to receive the 150th anniversary edition of the license plate. In addition, those who have the special edition plate must actively maintain their registration in order to keep the style option in the future. For more information or to obtain the plate, visit the DMV, and save time by scheduling an appointment at www.dmvnv.com.
