Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on stabbing

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 5:40 p.m., Kenneth Paz, 38, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to reports of a stabbing near the 600 block of King Street. Bail was set at $30,000.

At 9:10 p.m., Nicholas Morrow, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery, felony burglary and three counts of felony credit card fraud after deputies conducted a search warrant at 20 College Parkway. Morrow allegedly was involved in a robbery at the Winnie Lane Crossroads Lounge around 6:30 a.m. Bail was set at $75,000.

At 9:22 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Beverly and Karin Drive. Bail was set at $1,000

THURSDAY

At 1:55 a.m., an 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, minor consuming alcohol and failure to maintain a lane after deputies responded to reports of an accident near College Parkway and Roop Street. Bail was set at $1,190.

At 5:48 a.m., Michael Madore, 25, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony failure to appear warrant, criminal contempt and obstruction of an officer after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near the College Parkway Sonic Drive-in. Madore attempted to flee on foot but was detained near the College Parkway Gaming Control Board. Bail was set at $3,250.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
