Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of hit and run, DUI

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 3:27 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of petit larceny, conspiracy to commit theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of three people taking items from the Carson Street Kohls. At the same incident, Jeff Jim, 28, of Dresslerville, N.J., was arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit theft and possession of drug paraphernalia and a 26-year-old Dresslerville, N.J., woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft. The suspects attempted to flee from deputies but were detained shortly after near the 100 block of Koontz Street. Bail for the 30-year-old was set at $4,400, bail for Jim was set at $6,000 and bail for the 26-year-old was set at $2,500.

At 3:58 p.m., a 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny, petit larceny warrant and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of two women taking items from the Carson Street Kohls. Bail was set at $1,890.

At 4:37 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of parole and probation violation after deputies conducted a probation search near the 400 block of Winnie Lane. No bail was set.

SATURDAY

At 7:07 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, hit and run, failure to maintain a lane, violation of a suspended sentence and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of an accident hear the 1000 block of Spartan Avenue. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 4:59 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of an accident near the Winnie Lane Crossroad Lounge. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:13 p.m., Tera Levand, 38, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and fictitious registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the William Street Walgreen’s. Bail was set at $9,150.

At 11:17 p.m., Jason Blocker, 46, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and Saliman. Bail was set at $3,145.

SUNDAY

At 12:07 a.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Morgan Mill Boat Launch and Deer Run Road. Bail was set at $4,500.

At 1:36 a.m. a 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near Ash Canyon and Longview. Bail was set at $750.

At 3:44 a.m., a 22-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2700 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,040.

At 5:59 a.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of unlawful taking of a vehicle, accident hit and run and minor consuming alcohol after deputies responded to reports of an accident near the 300 block of Hot Springs Road. The suspect was later located near the 300 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $3,150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
