In celebration of Nevada Day, hot air balloons will be the sunrise companions on the morning of Oct. 29 – and there’s an opportunity to capture the most perfect moments of the launch.
Sponsored by REMAX, Nevada Day Inc. is holding a photo contest beginning 8 a.m. on the day of the celebration. The winner receives a ride for two in a hot air balloon.
Hot air balloons usually have designs and colors that stand out along with the morning sky. Therefore, there’s going to be a lot of photos, so make sure you choose your favorite shot. Submit your picture to the Nevada Day Office, 108 W. Telegraph St. or email it to nevadaday@nevadaday.com by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1. Winners will be announced Friday, Nov. 4 and will be featured in the Nevada Appeal.
