Thank you to crews who responded to recent fire
I want to take this opportunity to express deep gratitude to all those local and state firefighters and local law enforcement officials who responded to the recent fire on Oct. 13 south of Carson City near Clear Creek Avenue. As a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, we were extremely grateful to open our doors to the community for worship on the following Sunday, Oct. 16, with the church still standing and ready to serve.
First responders serve unselfishly and many times at personal risk and, for all you did and continue to do, a sincere and heartfelt thank you from all of us.
