Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of child neglect, battery on a peace officer

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 2:52 p.m., a 36-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of child neglect, battery on a peace officer and resisting after deputies responded to reports of a dispute. Bail was set at $7,800.

At 3 p.m., Dale Jones, 33, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and contempt of court after deputies attempted to conduct a warrant service near Roop Street and Little Lane. Bail was set at $2,722.

At 4:05 p.m., a 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a dispute near the 800 block of Travis Drive. Bail was set at $150.

At 5:13 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 300 block of Dan Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 8:18 p.m., a 68-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence and battery after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 400 block of Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 9:56 p.m., a 38-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 400 block of William Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 10:17 p.m., Francisco Arroyo-Medina, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery with strangulation and felony dissuading a victim from reporting a crime after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 3300 block of Debbie Way. Bail was set at $20,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
