The official opening of Alderto's Mexican restaurant has been moved to Friday, Sept. 9.
Alderto’s, the new locally-owned Mexican restaurant on S. Carson St., has pushed its opening date to Friday, Sept. 9, said General Manager Jose Puga.
The delay is due to a problem with permits, he said. The grand opening was orginally set for Saturday morning.
Mexican cuisine Super Burrito was formerly housed in the building but recently closed its doors due to low demand, according to their Facebook page. Super Burrito continues to serve at their Minden, Reno and Sparks locations.
