Navy League’s Carson City Council to meet Sept. 14 at Gold Dust West

The Carson City Council of the Navy League of the United States is holding its quarterly dinner meeting Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino. The social hour will start at 5:30 and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.

This meeting’s guest speaker will be Captain Ted Powers, USMC. Capt. Powers is the Headquarters Company Commander at MCMWTC, Pickel Meadows, Calif. There also will be an update on the USNS Carson City and recognizing several young Navy and Marine Personnel from NAS Fallon and Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center.
