Churchill County announced its participation in the National Association of Countie “Live Healthy” Dental Discounts and Health Discounts which allows them to offer all county residents the opportunity to save money with discounts on everyday dental and health services and procedures.
Through Live Healthy Dental and Health Discounts residents can save 15 percent to 50 percent on the cost of check-ups, cleanings, fillings, vision services, hearing aids, diabetes supplies, prepaid lab and more.
Churchill County currently provides its residents Live Healthy Prescription Discounts which offers them an average of 24 percent off the retail price of prescription medicine. The Live Healthy Prescription Discounts Card is free to all residents; there is no fee to join.
Live Healthy Dental Discounts and Health Discounts, just like prescription discounts, are available to all residents, those with and without health insurance as an added way to save on the cost of health care. One main difference from the free prescription discounts is that the dental discounts and health discounts require a low, monthly or annual fee to join.
There are no annual limits placed on use, no forms to fill out, no waiting periods, no age or income requirements and no medical condition restrictions. The Live Healthy Discounts Program is not health insurance.
Many Churchill County families face high costs when paying for health care. Residents already have a way to save with Live Healthy Prescription Discounts, which is why the county is able to add to those discounts and offer our residents more opportunity for tangible savings on everyday costs of dental and health procedures and services.
Offering the complete Live Healthy Prescription, Dental and Health Discounts Program will make it easier for residents to afford the services they need to live healthy in Churchill County.
