The Nevada State Treasurer’s Office is giving away five college savings accounts with an initial deposit of $529 in celebration of College Savings Month.
The deadline to enter the giveaway is midnight on Sept. 30 after which the five winners will be selected from a random drawing. All you need to do is fill out a simple form!
“We are excited to kickoff College Savings Month and back-to-school season with this amazing giveaway,” said Dan Schwartz, Nevada State Treasurer. “What do you have to lose? Enter today and get a jump-start on saving for your child’s future!”
There is no purchase necessary to win. Entries are accepted online at ssga.upromise529.com/giveaway until midnight on September 30, 2016. The five winners will be selected from a random drawing after the deadline, and will receive a $529 contribution into an SSGA Upromise 529 Plan account.
Plans offered by the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office include the Nevada Prepaid Tuition Program, SSGA Upromise 529 Plan, the Vanguard 529 College Savings Plan, the USAA 529 College Savings Plan, and Putnam 529 for America. Each plan is different and they can even be used together to offer families complete savings options.
