Shauna Evelyn Masterpool

March 30, 1952 ~ Sept. 12, 2016

Shauna Evelyn Masterpool of Fallon, Nevada, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2016, at the age of 64. She joins her parents, Colonel William and Maida (Moore) Masterpool, but leaves behind her children Daniel and Megan Ahiers and their spouses Holli Ahiers and Shawn Belyea, as well as her brothers William Masterpool, Michael (Julie) Masterpool, and Jerome (Tara) Masterpool, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.

She was born in Oceanside, California on March 30, 1952, but her love of exploration, adventure and endless curiosity, never kept her in one place for long.

After college at Georgian Court University, she joined the United States Marine Corps, where she created an illustrious career. She eventually retired as a Major, with numerous honors under her belt.

She lived and traveled all over the world, including Japan, Germany, Canada, England, Hong Kong, Mexico, China and Guam. Her quick wit, incredible generosity, and penchant for mischief, led her to make friends and legendary stories everywhere she went. Her zest for life will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at The Gardens on Friday, September 16th at 6:00 p.m.
