A panel of comedians will be giving the male perspective on a variety of topics when the DisMANtled Comedy Tour returns to the Carson Nugget on Friday, Oct. 7.

The 90-minute show offers the perspective of a married man, Justin Rupple, a gay man, Joe Dosch, a man with a live-in girlfriend, Alex Mandelberg, and a perpetually single man, Rev. Mitcz.

Their performance includes an audience question and answer session. Women are welcome to ask questions they may not have had the courage to ask men before, and men are welcome to enlist the help of the panel to settle an argument or prove a point. The four performers are in the dark on what will be asked, but they say they’ll answer questions with raw and hilarious honesty.

Rupple, the host of the tour, will be returning for a solo performance at the Nugget the following week on Friday, Oct. 14.

With more than 80 impersonation and 15 original characters, Rupple was the winning contestant on the first season of Dana Carvey’s “First Impressions.” He’s the winner of two national comedy competitions and a finalist in two international festivals.

Rupple can be seen in this year’s “Operation Chromite,” a movie with Liam Neeson, and on “Scorpion” and “Comics to Watch” on CBS; and “Partners” on FX, Fox and Lifetime.

Alex Elkin, of “Last Comic Standing” fame, will perform on Friday, Oct. 21. Elkin draws on his experience as a husband and father to bring laughs to audiences around the nation. He appeared on TNT’s “Leverage,” NBC’s “Grimm,” and “The Simple Life” on E!

October’s final comedy performance will be by JR De Guzman on Friday, Oct. 28.

De Guzman has entertained all over the world, having performed in the Joker’s Ball in Indonesia, the Badaboom Comedy Series in Amsterdam, and the San Francisco Sketch Festival. Combining music and comedy, he serenades the audience into laughter with songs, jokes, and stories of traveling the world, life after college, and family. De Guzman has performed with the bands Passion and Pablo Cruise, as well as comedians Tim Allen, Paul Mooney, and Sasheer Zamata.

Doors for all shows open at 6:45 with the comedians taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. Anyone 21 or older can buy tickets for $13 in advance and $15 on the day of the show.
