Water main flushing continues this week in Carson City

Carson City’s main flushing program continues this week in the Stanton Park area north of Butti Way, south of Highway 50, east of the freeway and west of Fairview Drive

The flushing will take place Tuesday through Thursday.

Discolored water caused by naturally occurring minerals which accumulate in the water system may occur. Residents should avoid washing light colored laundry if the water is discolored. Any discoloration is expected to clear up within several hours.
