Man arrested for attempted grand larceny, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 1:27 a.m., Andrew Miller, 30, of Riverton, Utah, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools after deputies initiated a welfare check near the 3300 block of Highway 50. At the same incident, Danielle Maddox, 25, of Midvale, Utah, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Miller was set at $33,500 and bail for Maddox was set at $28,500.

At 6:40 p.m., Kathleen Emery, 47, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary warrant and felony grand larceny warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1600 block of Brown Street. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 6:50 p.m., Brandon Alatorre, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted grand larceny of a motor vehicle after deputies responded to reports of a man attempting to hot wire a vehicle at the Carson Street Batteries Plus. Bail was set at $10,000.

THURSDAY

At 12:32 a.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense near College Parkway. Bail was set at $5,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
