The 2017 Carson City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class, comprised of 24 leadership professions, is privileged to welcome the community to a public unveiling of their class project on May 5 at 6 p.m.
The class, often referred to as the best class, has worked diligently acquiring materials, constructing and painting a themed mural in the dining area of FISH (Friends In Service Helping).
FISH has selflessly served Carson City and surrounding communities since 1979 and helps with a variety of social services in the Carson City area, including a dining facility for their clients to enjoy a warm meal. The mural illustrates the philosophy of FISH; Providing a Hand Up, Not a Hand Out.
The unveiling will be hosted by FISH in conjunction with the Carson City Chamber of Commerce at the Carson City FISH location at 138 E. Long St.
On location will be food trucks serving tacos and beverages available for the public. This will be a Cinco de Mayo themed fiesta. Please join FISH Executive Director Jim Peckham, Carson City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ronni Hannaman, and the 2017 Chamber Leadership Class for the remarkable reveal.
This project would not be possible without the generous sponsorships donated from local companies. The 2017 Leadership Class would like to thank the following sponsors: Meridian Insurance, Rob McFadden, Jr., United Federal Credit Union, Wells Fargo Bank, RCM Realty Group, and a very special thank you to Harley Davidson Financial Services, Inc.
