The following cases were heard in the Tenth Judicial District Court before Judge Thomas Stockard.
A bench warrant was issued for Jessica Jeanne Nunes after she failed to appear in court. Nunes was being arraigned on charges of abuse, neglect or endangerment of a child, not causing substantial bodily or mental harm.
Nicholas Howard Foley pleaded guilty to unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced in October.
Andrew Anthony Dominic Gonzales was sentenced to 12 to 34 months in prison for attempt to commit assault with a deadly weapon. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years.
Lori Ann Gesick pleaded guilty to trafficking a controlled substance, 4 grams or more but less than 14 grams. She will be sentenced in October.
Proceedings against Gerald Lee Landis were suspended and he was placed on probation for three years for charges of possession of a controlled substance. The court ordered he remain in custody until his first drug court date.
