LVN Letter to the editor: Thanks to supporters of Kicks for Tim fundraiser

Hello to my Fallon family!

We often think back to the “Kicks for Tim” fundraiser in September and feel so very blessed to have each and every one of you as our family, friends and rocks.

This is the time of the year to be thankful and count our blessings in our lives. We’re not going to lie, it’s been a bit tough in trying to find the blessings but we try to stay positive and trust that we are meant to be in this situation at this moment. We have a lot to be thankful for like all the dedicated people who worked so hard to have the fundraiser run smoothly. We know we can’t name everyone and probably will never find out about the anonymous friends or the quiet ones who worked behind the scenes but know we are so thankful for everything.

Thank you for all the donations, games, food and fun everyone provided. We had a wonderful time catching up with everyone. It felt like a reunion, but sadly one very important person was missing, Tim. We know you wish you could do more or say something to make it better. Please know we are blessed by having a great community come together in our time of need.

We feel honored to have lived in Fallon for 18 years and will always consider Fallon our home no matter where we live. We know Tim would agree with us, too!

One final thank you for all our family and friends who are constantly keeping in touch with us these past few months. We appreciate you always lifting us up.
