The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
THURSDAY
At 9:29 a.m., a 43-year-old Carson woman was booked on a charge of violating her suspended sentence conditions at her home on East Long Street. She was ordered held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
At 10:55 a.m., a 42-year-old Carson man was arrested at an apartment on Airport Road on two contempt of court warrants issued by Carson Justice Court. He was held in lieu of $6,000 bail.
At 4:25 p.m., Leonardo Perez of Portola, Calif., was arrested on a felony count of burglary by shoplifting from Walmart. The item stole was a sweatshirt. Bail was set at $2,500.
At 5 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson landscaper was ordered held without bail for allegedly violating bail conditions. He was taken into custody in the 1800 block of Division Street.
At 5:43 p.m., a 54-year-old construction worker was arrested following a traffic stop at Snyder and South Carson streets. He was charged with having a fictitious registration, no insurance and failure to appear on a prior traffic citation. Total bail was set at $825.
At 6:26 p.m., a 26-year-old Galt, Calif., man was arrested on a warrant charging violation of alternative sentencing conditions. He was held in lieu of $3,000 bail.
FRIDAY
At 1:26 a.m., a 32-year-old Carson man was charged with DUI-first, failure to maintain a lane and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. He was arrested after a traffic stop at North Roop and Corbett streets. Bail was set at $1,140.
At 5:48 a.m., a 54-year-old Carson man was arrested at Mountain and Fleischmann streets. After a traffic stop, dispatch informed the arresting deputy he was supposed to have an interlock breathalyzer device installed in his vehicle. No device was installed in the vehicle. He was ordered held in lieu of $500 bail.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
