Man arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 12:45 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and Kansas Road. Bail was set at $250.

At 1:29 p.m., Edward Lazar, 51, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony elder abuse after deputies conducted a warrant service near Canyon Drive. Bail was set at $25,000.

At 6 p.m., Forrest Crooks-Burrows, 22, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run with injury after deputies responded to reports of an accident near the 500 block of Jeanell Drive. At the same incident, a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer. Bail for Crooks-Burrows was set at $5,000 and bail for the 22-year-old was set at $300.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
