Carson City Supervisor Karen Abowd will host her monthly walkabout meting in Mills Park from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17.
“These monthly events play a critical role in keeping me in touch with the citizens of Carson City and allow me to hear directly about what concerns they feel are important and to hear ideas for our future,” Abowd said.
Although she represents Ward 1, everyone is invited to participate.
Take a lunch, your ideas, questions and concerns and meet on the steps of the Carson City Community Center and become a participant in local government.
