Hear Valentine’s Day jazz from Mile High Jazz Band in Carson City

An evening of sweet and hot big-band music with singer Cindee LaVal is planned from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Comma Coffee.

Jazz Sampler for Sweethearts will feature the 18-member Mile High Jazz Band presenting jazzy versions of favorite love songs for Valentine’s Day, and other swinging, big-band selections.

Highlights of the evening will include “Love is Just Around the Corner,” “The Glory of Love,” and “In the Mood.”

The performance is funded, in part, by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
