A group that advocates for people with disabilities in Nevada meets monthly at the Carson City Library.

People First of Nevada’s Carson City chapter holds meetings at 5:15 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Chapters meet monthly to learn about self-advocacy, self-determination, rights and responsibilities, skills to increase independence and to take action on local and statewide issues. Members are involved in local issues in their communities and offer testimony and legislative advocacy to create positive systemic changes for people with disabilities in Nevada.
