The following cases were heard in the Tenth Judicial District Court before Judge Thomas Stockard.
Peter Nathaniel Schaefer pleaded guilty to charges of battery of an officer, provider of health care, school employee, taxicab driver, transit operator or sports official. According to court documents, he kicked a law enforcement officer after being placed in custody. Sentencing will be scheduled after a presentencing investigation is conducted.
The arraignment of Melissa S. Canonico was continued for one week.
Susan Elaine Tybo pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance, specifically methamphetamine. Sentencing was suspended and Tybo was placed on probation.
Joyce Marie Mitcheltree was placed on the divergent program.
Jeremy James Christen pleaded guilty to charges of embezzlement in an amount $650 or more but less than $3,500. Sentencing will take place in May.
Ryan Karl Richter was placed on probation and ordered to attend any programs the drug court instructs. He was sentenced on charges of unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Deana Michelle Sullivan was sentenced to 19 to 48 months in prison for charges of unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance. The sentence was suspended and Sullivan placed on probation.
The sentencing of Robin Denise Semashko was continued one week after the public defender noticed some things he needed to review.
