Library thanks its volunteers

We are so very fortunate to have a stellar group of community minded people who give their time and talent to perform all manner of tasks to the benefit of library users. These duties include shelving books, processing new materials, cutting out and assembling crafts for story time, helping with special events, and anything else that pops up and needs attention. Last year volunteers contributed a total of 2,309 hours of their valuable time to the library. This is a total of 58 weeks. In monetary terms this is 13.5 months of a full time employee. I think that’s incredible and I thank you for your time and effort.
