Three Carson City inmates were arrested Thursday after jail staff found methamphetamine in cells.

Francesca Bertolini, 35, of Walnut, Calif.; and Laurie Harris, 51, of Carson City were  arrested on suspicion of various drug charges.

Once cleared, the inmate was to get in contact with jail staff immediately to return to the jail.

Thursday, deputies called the hospital to check the status of the inmate and learned she had been released and left the day before, according to reports.

Deputies located her near the 1700 block of Brown Street. She told family members she had been released from custody.
