Nevada Senator Dean Heller’s amendment to repeal the “Cadillac tax” on high-end healthcare plans in an attempt to keep healthcare spending lower has just passed the senate by a 52-48 vote.
The Republican senator’s amendment gives the senate its first successful vote since the senate started its 20 hours of debate on Tuesday.
