A Carson City couple is celebrating 60 years of marriage today.
Susie Jane and Jose Samuel Sedillos married on July 30, 1957, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Silver City, N.M.

Jose retired to Carson City after a career as a client services manager in the health information systems management field for various companies in Southern California. Prior to that work, he served four years active duty and two years reserve duty in United States Air Force — Communications.
Susie retired to Carson City after a career as a homemaker and 18 years as a teacher’s aide/specialized resource assistant for the Centralia School District in Buena Park, Calif.
The pair has two children, Sam Sedillos, 45, and Steven Sedillos, 40, and two grandchildren, Samuel Sedillos, 22, and Justin Sedillos, 1, all of Carson City.
The Sedillos marked their milestone with a romantic dinner at Cafe at Adele’s on Saturday. Today they plan on celebrating at the El Dorado in Reno where they will see Cirque Le Noir: The Dark Side of Cirque and enjoy a night of dining and gaming.
