At last summer has arrived

Watson here, and I’m one happy pup! The sun is up early, and I can get my mom and dad up real early for breakfast. I can’t believe how long they sleep, especially my mom. I usually try to wake them as soon as the sun comes through the window, but mom has a sneaky move to avoid me; she rolls way over to the middle of the bed. Unfortunately, my cold nose doesn’t stretch that far.

Eventually, I get them moving before too long, and we head out to Laura Mills Park for a stroll. It’s really great because we get there first and I can read the P-mail. Sometimes I find a left-over hot dog or French fry, and it’s always an adventure.

My favorite part of the day is our trip to the dog park. I get to see my friends there, and we walk around the pond and soccer field. I used to go swimming, but my mom has found several fish-hooks left by fishermen, so she hasn’t let me go. She’s always warning other dog parents about the fish hook danger.

I hope everyone will make the effort to come out to the dog park this summer. I know most dogs would love running around and meeting new friends. Summer time is here, and I just love everything. I’ll see you at the dog park; look for me in the shade because I plan on taking it easy!

XOXO Watson

LOOKING FOR A HOME

Haley is a seven-week-old female medium-haired Tortoiseshell who was born feral. She is super friendly and loves other cats. You can reserve her by paying the $100 fee and filling out the adoption papers. She’s a cutie!

We have puppies! Yes, we have three darling male Lab/border collie/St. Bernard crosses. Bieber, Gronk and Gerald are four months old and ready to find their happy-ever-after homes. Come out and have a puppy play time. You won’t be sorry!

Policy, however, prohibits adopting out puppies or kittens under the age of six months to a home with children under 5 years of age. This is to protect both the children and the animal.
