Two women arrested on burglary, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 11:28 a.m., Michelle Brown, 44, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, felony burglary, felony failure to comply with conditions, possession of a stolen vehicle, ex-felon failed to register and conspiracy to commit burglary after deputies responded to reports of two women putting items into a stroller at the Market Street Walmart. At the same incident, Rachel Gendron, 33, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, felony burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of burglary tools, destruction of property and ex-felon failed to register. Bail for Brown was set at $59,500 and bail for Gendron was set at $55,000.

At 7:09 p.m., a 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic dispute near Meyer and Nevada Streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

THURSDAY

At 5:31 a.m., a 35-year-old LePanto, Arkansas, man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject at the Carson Street Nugget. Bail was set at $150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
