Butler to have Aces jersey retired

RENO – Brett Butler, former championship manager of the Reno Aces, will be in attendance for the 2017 home opener on April 11 to have his jersey retired.

Butler guided the Aces to a 366-352 (.510) record in his five seasons (2009-2013) with the club. After leading Reno to its first Pacific Coast League (PCL) playoff appearance in 2011, he skippered the 2012 PCL Champion and Triple-A National Champion Aces squad. He managed the PCL team in the Triple-A All-Star Game hosted in Reno.

A fan favorite, Butler will meet with Aces season ticket holders at Greater Nevada Field in 250 Lounge from noon to 1:45 p.m. A question and answer session will be held with Aces broadcaster Ryan Radtke followed by questions and photo opportunities. Additionally, the former skipper will sign autographs on the concourse from 5 to 5:45 p.m.

A special ticket package for an exclusive autograph session, which includes a ticket to the game and an autograph card, will be available for purchase.
