Two arrested on felony drug trafficking charges says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 12:07 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer and hitchhiking after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near the 1100 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $340.

At 2:33 a.m., Steven Palmer, 66, of Stagecoach, was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of a firearm by a prohibited person after deputies responded to reports of possible drug activity near the Highway 50 Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $107,500.

At 6:17 p.m., Sidni Amato, 22, of Dayton, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Gold Dust Way. Bail was set at $7,500.

At 6:55 p.m., a 21-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, no valid driver’s license, improper plate display and tail lamps required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William Street and Gold Dust Way. Bail was set at $1,150.

At 7:12 p.m., Luis Fuentes, 22, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa Lane and Carmine Street. Bail was set at $8,500.

At 10:10 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer and obstructing after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 4700 block of Conte Drive. At the same incident, a 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of violation of bail conditions. Bail for the 39-year-old was set at $2,800.

SATURDAY

At 1:24 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer after deputies responded to reports of a fight near Molly Drive and Millennium Terrace. Bail was set at $300.

At 2:21 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Rice streets. Bail was set at $410.

At 3:11 a.m., a 54-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop Street and College Parkway. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:06 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 1800 block of Maison Way. Bail was set at $150.

At 5:08 a.m. a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Stewart and Adams streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 12:54 p.m., a 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1000 block of Robinson Street. Bail was set at $1,025.

At 8:25 p.m., Dylan Footen, of South Lake Tahoe was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act, felony trafficking a controlled substance and running a business without a valid driver’s license after deputies responded to reports of a possible marijuana grow near the 4800 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $213,500.

SUNDAY

At 2:24 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, hit and run and obstructing after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Washington and Stewart Streets. Bail was set at $1,800.

At 3:25 a.m., Chase Rowe, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after deputies responded to reports of an accident near I-580 and Carson Street. No bail was set.

At 8:01 p.m.. a 69-year-old Hollywood, Calif., woman was arrested on suspicion of trespassing, obstructing and assaulting a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic dispute near the 400 block of Saliman Road. Bail was set at $2,950.

MONDAY

At 1:14 a.m., Tobias Garringer, 22, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony failure to appear and violation of bail conditions after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Max Casino. Bail was set at $8,000.

At 5:23 a.m., a 59-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 3400 block of Imperial Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:39 a.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Saliman Road and Colorado Street. No bail was set.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
