Commissioners meet to discuss life center, recognize employees

The Churchill County Board of Commissioners will meet Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. in the Fallon City Hall council chambers on West Williams Avenue.

The commission will consider and take possible action regarding the following:

Recognition of county employees for years of service for the first quarter of 2017.

Award of bid to a construction firm to install the Pine Grove Sewer System Improvements 2017 Project partially funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Principal Forgiveness Loan — and approval of the remaining funding needed for the project from the county.

Update on current activities, plans or actions related to the Bureau of Land Management Carson City District.

Community Services Block Grant Sub-Recipient Agreement between Churchill County Social Services and the Churchill Community Coalition to provide the Parenting Wisely Program and to authorize the Social Services Director to sign.

Interlocal contract between the Nevada Division of Forestry and the county for wildland fire protection.

Ferguson Construction request for extension of time for completion of the William N. Pennington Life Center Project.

Request from Jim Kingzett for extension of time for submittal of a parcel map for the Hazel Rail Park Tentative Map pursuant to the development agreement approved in July 2010.

Request submitted by Twenty-One Lots Caleb, LLC for extension of time for submittal of a parcel map pursuant to Bill 2010-A Ordinance 103 appurtenant to the tentative map for Skyridge Estates, Phase 8.

Resolution 161-2017 authorizing the sale of property held in trust by the county treasurer for unpaid taxes and directing publication as provided by the Nevada Revised Statutes.

An agreement for purchase of a conservation/restrictive use easement with Clinton Louis Felton and Denise Lynn Mondhink-Felon.

An agreement for purchase of a conservation/restrictive use easement with Flying W Land & Livestock, LLC.
