The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
THURSDAY
At 1:31 p.m., a 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject at the Highway 50 Whiskey Tavern. Bail was set at $955.
At 2:42 p.m., Antonio Sclafani, 46, of Sparks was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony possession of a forged instrument, two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, cell phone violation, failure to change address on a driver’s license and seat belt required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa Lane and Menlo Drive. Bail was set at $25,100.
At 5:10 p.m., Timothy Russell, 24, a transient was arrested on suspicion of felony battery with substantial bodily harm and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking alcohol from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $15,250.
At 6:11 p.m., a 32-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Cinnabar Drive. Bail was set at $283.
At 7:29 p.m., a 45-year-old Douglas woman was arrested on suspicion of suspended registration, no proof of insurance and a failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Street and Clear Creek Avenue. At the same incident, a 39-year-old Douglas woman was arrested on two warrants. Bail for the 45-year-old was set at $825 and bail for the 39-year-old was set at $2,000.
At 10:53 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court and resident non-Nevada driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop and William streets. Bail was set at $515.
At 11:42 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of a peace officer, speed, failure to maintain a lane and turn signal required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stewart and Little streets. Bail was set at $1,370.
FRIDAY
At 12:13 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and no valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stewart and 9th streets. Bail was set at $1,100.
At 12:37 a.m.. a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm while intoxicated after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Telegraph and Stewart Streets. Bail was set at $4,500.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
