Kiwanis Club of Dayton Township will host a program about how consumers can protect themselves from fraud at its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. April 5 at Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road.
Guest speaker Jamie Griffitts, manager of Wells Fargo Dayton Plaza branch, will lead the discussion addressing issues of identity theft, fraudulent credit card use and hacking, and how to guard against theft of personal information, credit and identity theft.
Griffitts has been with Wells Fargo for eight years, working her way up from teller to her current role. She has been a business specialist, Wells Fargo at Work proponent and Hands on Banking proponent. Hands on Banking includes teaching about budgeting, credit, and identity theft.
Additionally, the club is thankful for support of its 27th annual Casino Night held on March 18, when $2,200 was raised for scholarship and service programs.
For information, call Vice President Richard Amrhein at 775-301-6034, or attend meetings on the first Wednesday of the month. Meetings include a potluck dinner prepared by members.
