Geri Meyer will lead a discussion about challenges that come with aging at 10 a.m. Saturday and April 15. The retired therapist leads Embracing Change and Aging at 10 a.m. on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
Jim Woods of Birding Under Nevada Skies will offer the chance to get up close and personal with a falcon at 10:30 a.m. April 27. The presentation, Tactical Avian Predators, will feature falconer Kathleen Tigan, who uses falconry techniques to protect vineyards, airports and other locations from pest birds.
Musician Brian Bowers will perform and talk about his career that had him starting as a street singer and later becoming an inductee of the Autoharp Hall of Fame. His appearance will be at 2 p.m. April 14.
